Spring Break Or Spring Breakdown?
Monica Miller is like any typical high school senior. She enjoys spending time
with her friends listening to pop music and gossiping about boys. During the
high school year, one of the events that every senior wants to attend is
spring break. Many parents worry about the safety of their children during
these spring breaks. That includes Monica's parents. With all the stories of
high school kids drinking, fighting and partying without supervision during
spring break, Monica will have to approach her parents carefully for
permission to go.
Monica Gets Permission To Borrow The Family Car
During the weeks before spring break begins, Monica starts buttering up her
parents by doing her chores without being nagged repeatedly. She even offers
to babysit her annoying little brother for free in the hopes of borrowing the
family car for spring break. It works. Her parents allow her the use of the
family car to drive down to the shore for the weekend.
Sun And Fun On The Beach
Monica arrives at the shore, signs into the hotel where all the students are
staying and begins to explore the beach. The family car is parked safe and
sound on the grounds of the hotel around back. Parking under the trees out
back seemed to be a good idea. Monica hated to sit down on hot vinyl seats in
the summertime. Even though she couldn't see the car from the beach, it seemed
safe there. All the kids parked their scooters and bikes back there under the
trees.
The Family Car Disappears
Monica spent the morning with her high school friends frolicking in the water,
hunting for seashells and digging around in the sand for buried treasure.
Later on, in the afternoon, Monica and her friends hit the boardwalk to sample
all the food stands and fill up on fries, cotton candy and soda until they
could barely breathe. That evening there was supposed to be a campfire and
cookout on the beach. Monica wanted to chip in for hot-dogs and chips so she
decided to go to the grocery store. Rounding the corner to the back parking
lot, she found an empty space where the family car used to be. The car was
stolen.
Monica Gets Back Home In A Rental
What happened to the car? How in the world did the car disappear? Worse than
that, how would she get home? The other kids were here for the whole week of
spring break. She only had permission to have the car gone over the weekend.
None of the kids would be willing to cut their spring break short to drive her
home. Would a short term insurance policy from
here policy save the day?
After calling her parents, Monica was given the use of their credit card to
try and rent a car. The nice man at the hotel desk made arrangements for her
to rent a small car and get a short term policy from
temporarycarinsuranceuk.com to drive herself home. The Millers were glad that
Monica made it back it safely and that whoever took the family car didn't
kidnap their daughter in the process.
